Lincoln School News for Oct. 11-15, 2021

Good Evening Lincoln Family,

I continue to get better, but not yet able to return to work.  Mr. Andrew Pratley has been at Lincoln in my absence so feel free to reach out to him if needed.  I'll be back soon!

News From the Lunchroom

We would like to remind everyone that breakfast and lunch are FREE again this year to every St Joseph Public School student. Please try to remember to pre-order your student’s lunches when they are going to participate in lunch.  This helps speed up the morning lunch count process.  You will be allowed to order the Friday before the next week using www.sendmoneytoschool.com.

Due to the supply chain issues we are having with our vendors and food outages we will be providing a one week menu on our website and Principal blogs. Here is this week's lunch menu:

10/11/21 – Mini corn dogs, muffin, green beans, fruit selection and milk

10/12/21 – Hamburger, smile potatoes, fruit selection and milk

10/13/21 – Macaroni & cheese, broccoli, bread stick, fruit selection and milk

10/14/21 – ½ Day Packed Lunch – soybutter and jelly, carrot sticks, apple slices, snack crackers

10/15/21 – ½ Day Packed Lunch – soybutter and jelly, carrot sticks, apple slices, snack crackers

Parent-Teacher Conferences

Our fall Parent - Teacher conferences have been scheduled for next week and will continue through mid-November.  Your time may or may not be scheduled on one of the 1/2 days. We schedule appointments flexibly to honor our family's work & personal commitments.

Conferences are our chance to get connected as partners in your child's education and to share ideas for a successful school year.  We are offering both face-to-face and virtual options this year. Our goal is always 100% conference completion in the fall.  Please make every effort to attend the scheduled conference for your child and be sure to contact your child's teacher if you need to reschedule.

Community Author Visit

Michigan author, Kelly J. Baptist, will be visiting the Legacy Group of Benton Harbor on October 18th. Please see the information below about this exciting opportunity for our learners!
