Below are the calendar entries for the rest of the school year!  It is so hard to believe that we are at this point already.  There is a lot of information included with the calendar, please be sure to contact your child's teacher or the office if you have questions about what's coming up. 

Track Meet and Field Day Volunteers Needed
Mr. Pfahler is in need of more parent volunteers for the up-coming John Hall Elementary Track Meet (Friday, May 11) from 11:00am-2:30pm for grades 3-5 and also Field Day (Friday, June 1) all day for grades K-5.  If you are able to help please contact Mr. Pfahler at rpfahler@sjschools.org   or (269) 926-3758.

Are You Looking for a Summer Tutor?
Heather Briney-Kelm tutors at the SJ Public Library in the mornings.
She can offer several options for schedule and cost.
Tutoring is for math and reading for grades 1-6.

Summer Piano and Percussion Lessons!
Hi, my name is Claire Wood and I am a senior at Lakeshore High School! I have played piano since I was 6 and percussion since I was 10. My ultimate goal is to become an elementary music teacher and a percussion instructor. I will be teaching lessons this summer for percussion and/or beginning piano. I have been teaching percussion lessons at Lakeshore Middle School for two years now and I am excited to continue teaching this summer!
Weekly ½ hour lessons are $15 per half hour.

Morning with Mom
On Friday, May 11th, 2018 from 7:30-8:25am we will have our annual Morning with Mom Event at school.  You and your child(ren) are invited to the school cafeteria for FREE donuts and juice, brought to you by Lincoln PTO.  This is your chance to have some special time with your child and their schoolmates in a fun atmosphere at school.  (Any adult may accompany a student to this event).  RSVP forms were either sent home on Friday or will be sent home on Monday.  Please RSVP by Friday, May 4th so our PTO will know how many donuts to order.

News to Wrap Up the Last Week of April


It’s been a busy week at Lincoln School!  To wrap up the week, we have the following activities tomorrow (Friday, April 27)

PTO News
We are scheduling a special meeting for Thursday, May 10 at noon in the Media Center.  The purpose of this meeting will be to approve the budget for next year and to approve the new slate of officers for 2018-2019.  We hope to see you there!
