SchoolStore.Com
Booklets containing 11 postcards will be going home with students on Monday for our Schoolstore.com on-line shopping spring promotion.  If your child is in Y5 - 3rd grade and returns the packet he/she will receive a squishy Zoo animal.  If you child is in 4th or 5th grade he/she will receive a light-up pen.  Participation is completely optional.  This is our 2nd year Lincoln School has participated in the Schoolstore.com program, and it has been extremely successful.  Our fall promotion generated over $650.00 for Lincoln School to use toward fun events/activities for our students.  It has also generated over $7600 worth of gift cards for teachers to use to buy supplies and items for their classrooms through the caring for classroom program.  A BIG THANK YOU from Lincoln School to all who have supported the program this year.

Following is a link to the promotional video the students will be seeing on Monday.  Y5 - 3rd grade students should click on the Squishy Zoo Animal Video and 4th and 5th graders should click on the Light-Up Pen Video

Screenagers Event
Monday night's Screenagers event at the High School is going to be a great next step for families working to manage the stress of talking to kids about social media use and navigating screen time limits at home. We encourage you to come out for an evening filled with information and ideas. Please see the details below.

Here's a little preview for you . . .

Parents and students K-12, please join us Feb 11th from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm in the St Joseph High School’s John and Dede Howard auditorium for a viewing of Screenagers. Screenagers is an award-winning film that depicts the challenging struggles that families have over social media, video games and academics. The film offers solutions on how we can help our kids navigate the digital world.

After viewing the film, we have a county expert, Joe Rommel, who will give additional updates on current social media trends and suggestions for parents on setting boundaries with their students’ social media use. Refreshments will be available, along with free childcare offered by SJHS National Honor Society student group. Childcare is available for toddler through elementary school age children.

Spring Conferences
Spring Parent-Teacher Conferences in February and March are scheduled for select students. Teachers will be scheduling conferences for students who are at-risk of not meeting year-end learning targets and for those who are experiencing social or emotional difficulties. Parents or guardians may also request a conference.
