On Monday and Tuesday this week, Mrs. Bartz and I will be in Washington DC along with our Superintendent, Ann Cardon to attend The National Blue Ribbon Schools Ceremony. The National Blue Ribbon Schools Program has recognized Lincoln School for overall academic excellence. Every year the U. S. Department of Education seeks out and celebrates great American schools, schools demonstrating that all students can achieve to high levels. The National Blue Ribbon School award affirms the hard work of students, educators, families, and communities in creating safe and welcoming schools where students master challenging content. Mrs. Bartz and I will be pleased to accept this award on behalf of the entire Lincoln School family.
