National Blue Ribbon Ceremony
Superintendent, Ann Cardon, Mrs. Bartz and I had a great time in DC! Did you know that there are over 169,000 schools in the nation and only 342 earned this distinct honor this year. Lincoln School is among the very top of high achieving schools in the United States, isn't that wonderful news?
Thanksgiving Luncheon
Thursday, November 16th is our traditional Thanksgiving Luncheon. This annual event includes a family style meal prepared by our kitchen and served by many parent volunteers. Our Kindergarteners will delight us with singing prior to the meal as well! Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate parent visitors at lunch on this day. In order to attend, you must be a volunteer, see information below!
Thanks for helping with Lincoln's Thanksgiving lunch!!! We need MANY volunteers, as this is a full scale Thanksgiving dinner and is served family style. Please view the attached sign in sheet - only name and email needed, no need to create any accounts.

Searching for Girls on the Run Coaches! Girls need YOU!
- You have a tremendous opportunity to help girls understand the true inner power they possess; to serve as the critical ‘fuel’ that propels them forward in life. As a volunteer coach for Girls on the Run, you can unleash the strength, bravery, and limitless potential of girls right here in St.Joe!
Girls on the Run coaches are as unique as the girls they serve. Just like the girls, many are not runners. They are people just like YOU who take great pride and care in role modeling character, connectedness, and inner strength. Girls on the Run coaches are truly a reflection of the girls we serve here in St. Joe. By being themselves, they prove that one person can really make a difference. And they have a lot of fun too! You do not need to be a mother of a student here, anyone can coach!
- There are over 40 girls waiting to participate in Girls on the Run here at Lincoln Elementary School this Spring. They need you! We need you! Practice begins Monday, Feb 26th. You would be in charge of a team of 8-10 girls from 4-5:30pm two days a week. Either Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursdays. It’s your choice!
