Spring is in the air and we continue to commit to high levels of learning for all. We have the gift of May to finish this year strong. We are so proud of the growth our students continue to make while faced with the adversity this pandemic has delivered. Thank you for your continued support in ensuring students stay engaged in daily practice, such as nightly reading, throughout the rest of the school year.

Daily Health Screening
Thank you for your continued adherence to our daily screening guide posted on our district website before sending your child to school. If he/she is exhibiting any symptoms consistent with COVID-19, they must stay home. It is imperative that we work together to safe safe so that we can stay together.
If someone in your home is awaiting results of a COVID-19 test, all students need to stay home from school until the results are in. Thank you for your attention to this.
Spring Testing
Our fifth grade students have been busy confidently showing what they've learned through their participation in the Science M-STEP test this past week. They will continue to work through the other three required subject-area assessments throughout the month. Our third and fourth graders may begin as early as this week and will have until June 4th to complete the required Mathematics and ELA assessments. Additionally, all of our kindergarten - fifth grade students will engage in NWEA testing this week and next. Results of that assessment will be mailed home in your child's third trimester report card. M-STEP reports are sent by the State when available. Please see your child's teacher's blog for additional information related to dates/times for testing sessions. We greatly appreciate families limiting non-essential appointments during the scheduled testing sessions. Additionally, as with every day, thank you for providing extra words of encouragement, ensuring quality sleep the night before, and for providing a healthy breakfast each day.
