Fall Weather is Coming!
From the PTO
Thank you for an extremely successful Laps for Lincoln! We have an incredible Lincoln family and these past two weeks we really showed that! Keep an eye on our Facebook page to see all of the meaningful ways the funds that we raised get put to use!
There is a collection box for Women’s Service League’s Operation Coats in the lobby. All month long we will be collecting used coats, hats, gloves and scarves. Donated items will be distributed to local families and children in need.
All Bear Wear orders must be submitted online by tomorrow morning. The link to order Bear Wear is: https://cestores.orderpromos.com/Lincoln2018
Fall Weather is Coming!
The weather is going to be cooling down soon and students should start planning to wear pants (not shorts) to school. A good rule of thumb is, if the predicted temp is 65 degrees or warmer, then shorts are probably fine. Any cooler and you should opt for pants. Students still go outside unless the temps are in single digits (including windchill).
Halloween is just around the corner! Wednesday, October 31 (This is a Late Start Day)
All kids can dress up. Be mindful of costumes and especially those that require make-up. We are asking that kids are dressed up all day so simple is best. Children may want to go without the make-up or the bulky parts of their costumes for school. Parties will be at various times and will be scheduled by classroom teachers. All parents are welcome to attend the parade which will be (weather permitting) outside. The parade will begin at 3:20pm and parents may check their kids out with the classroom teacher after the parade.
Enjoy a delicious meal and support our community! |
