Valentine's Day at Lincoln School

February 14 is quickly approaching and of course, things this year will continue to be a little different.  Our plan is to hold off on the candy and packaged Valentines, and below are details for the week.

During the week of February 14 - 17, our Positivity Project (P2) activities will be focused on "Love."  Love means that you value close relationships with others and being close to people. The character strength of love represents the way we think, feel, and behave towards the people with whom we have close relationships.

Classes will have activities and lessons in their morning meetings that will take the place of the traditional card exchange and parties.  No need to send anything in from home, we will handle it all in-house.

If you want to look ahead at family activities and connections for that week, remember you can access the P2 for Families at https://posproject.org/p2-for-families/  The password is P2.

In addition, your child's classroom teacher may propose some additional celebrations so be sure to check out the classroom blogs!

Lincoln School News for January 17-21, 2022

REMINDER - NO SCHOOL TOMORROW, JANUARY 17 (MLK DAY)

See you Tuesday!

Dear Lincoln Family

I am certain that almost everyone in the Lincoln Family knows of the car accident that occurred on September 20, 2021.  We continue to grieve the loss of Sylas and his dad while we celebrate the pure joy of living that Elliott brings to us.  Perseverance is our Positivity Project theme for the week. Elliott embodies what it means to persevere. His resilience and positive attitude should be a lesson to us all.

A service for Sylas Orion Keys, age 13, will be held on Saturday, January 29th at 11am at First Church of God on Niles Ave.
